This cocktail bar looks unassuming from the outside, but what you find on the inside is stylish interiors & unusual but tasty cocktails. The Bar With Shapes For A Name is a true East London gem, that’s been ranked in world’s top 50 bars!

Walking into this pub is a bit like stepping into a handful of alternate realities. Intricate usage of old theatre props make for a wonderfully weird, surreal experience. I've not seen many pubs where you can enjoy a pint in treehouse-themed pod, that's for certain.

Tucked away beneath East London favourite 'Bistrotheque', at the centre stage of this classy cocktail bar is a beautiful piano that looks like an insert from La La Land. Enjoy a peach whisky cocktail and unwind with some soothing jazz.

Neighbourhood favourite bar, known for the menu that changes daily! The cheese platter here is a must! Also, Charli XCX once named this bar her favorite spot in London. She has a point...

Outdoor cocktail garden situated on top of the oldest metro shaft in London! It feels like you're in a fairy godmother's garden - surrounded by various herbs and berries, which they use for their cocktails. Our favourite drink here was the midnight margarita; it's a pitch-black drink made with charcoal and blackberries. Once an hour they give tours of the underground shaft for the Thames Tunnel, sharing the stories of how it was built.

This cosy hidden bar in East London is a perfect spot for an early evening catch up with friends. It's a carefully designed space, with laidback atmosphere, groovy tunes and an innovative cocktail menu. Their delicious cocktails have a twist - they all have vegetables in them! Our favourite was a carrot white Russian - it tasted like a not-too-sweet carrot cake. Combine this bar with a stroll in the Haggerston park for a wholesome evening out in the East.

Nestled away behind the unassuming facade of a Mac repair shop has to be one of the cosiest bars in East London. Decorated with cool antiques, odd little pieces of art, and sprawling plants, enjoy a delicious cocktail made from locally foraged ingredients.

We were out and about by the Kings Cross station, and discovered a beautiful hidden bar inside the famous St Pancras Grand Hotel. It’s mysterious and utterly stunning inside, with long corridors, golden ornaments on the ceilings, colourful velvets and lots of vine plants. Our favourite drink here was the "Bloomsbury Club" - a white chocolate and raspberry gin-based martini. Oh, and we can't forget the best cocktail pairing we tried in London - spicy fried pickles... they are a must!

One of our new favourite spots, Decimo, curate by a famous Hollywood set designer, has seriously stylish interiors. With chilled staff, nice collection of cacti and perfect guacamole, it’s great for early evening cocktails with friends. And if the sun comes out (gotta be lucky for this one), you can get some of the best views in London from their outdoor rooftop terrace, The vibes are great, and the heat lamps will keep it cosy throughout the colder months. I bet this would be a perfect spot for mulled wine dates around Christmas… hope they take us up on this!
